Doctor of Philosophy in Business with Concentration in Information Systems
Curriculum
Students must complete any necessary prerequisite courses, the research core, concentration area requirements and track requirements
Prerequisites
At the time of admission, student transcripts are reviewed to determine if any prerequisite courses are needed, prior to taking doctoral courses. Students admitted to the program without these prerequisites will be advised to the sequencing of taking needed coursework. Students are required to have completed the equivalent of the core courses in the Master of Science in Information Systems program: INFO 610 analysis and Design of Database Systems, INFO 620 Data Communications, INFO 630 Systems Development, and INFO 640 Informations Systems Management. Students may be required to take additional courses to cover any deficiencies identified by the program advisor.

Minor Requirements
Three or Four courses, depending on the area chosen, in an approved track that will supplement the student's research interests must be completed. Tracks currently include: accounting, decision sciences, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, marketing or an approved field outside the School of Business in a school or department that offers a doctoral program
